We have recently wrapped up another event that we put together to raise money for our upcoming Album release!!! The event was successful with the support of so many great people that We'd like to Thank!!! First off we had some great performers sharing the stage with us including: Kaley Kinjo Sidney York Elijah Lucian Meaghan Nolan All beautiful performers and we were lucky to have them be a part of this event!!! So check them out too ;) Next we had some amazing event sponsors who set up wicked promotional tables at the event for their companies!!! These companies included: Eleven:Eleven Clothing Boutique Things that go bump in the night Deva Dave Mortgage Intelligence Arbourne Followed by generous donations from various companies in Calgary for the Silent Auction and Door Prizes: Fabutan Sheraton Suites The Latin Corner Bikrams Yoga Calgary South Urban Radiance Bontarra Italian Cousine Dogsville Arbourne Spice Wellness And a HUGE thank you to all the volunteers involved and Kevin for working the sound!! We are now in the preproduction stages of our record and theres so much to be excited about!!! New Sound...New Inspiration...New Music! Well I figure today is a day dedicated to taking care of the earth we live on! so I better do my part and raise some awareness for anyone who may not know this!!! Its good to be reminded every so often of the things in our life we our grateful to have and to take care of them!! For instance this earth! The choices we make today, may not have an immediate effect but 30-50 years from now the results from our actions will show, and I'm sure each and every one of us want to leave a home for the next generation including our children orr future children! ,that is well cared for and clean!
Things you can do today to effect the future tommorow: -SAVE WATER!!! (wait until your dishwasher is full before running it!, do full loads of laundry, this is a lil weird but I read if you but a brick in a plastic bag and put it in the back of your toilet you can save up to a GALLON of water with every flush! and are hour long showers really necessary!?!?) -CONSERVE ELECTRICITY!!! (Turn off lights and appliances when your not in the room!, Don't stand with the Refrigerator door open...I know thats hard especially if your indecisive like me haha, Turn off your computer monitors when its not in use!!, Replace your light bulbs with energy conserving ones!) -RECYCLE!! ( Have a seperate bin for your empty bottles and cans, Use tupperware instead of plastic baggies!!It takes more than 100 years for a plastic sandwich bag to biodegrade in a landfill!!, Know about the recycling programs in your area!) Theres lots more besides what I listed above that we can all do to make a difference! Just remember that even the smallest actions we take that are positive, turn into something bigger in the long run no matter what the cause!!!!
